The Catch Series: Carp on Natural Flies
This is an exceptional opportunity to fish with author and angler, Dom Garnett, for carp using natural fly patterns. You will have exclusive use of the lake at Bellbrook Valley Fishery, which has spring fed waters rich with insect life and provides the perfect environment to try the natural route at stalking mint condition fish to over 20lbs.
Dom recommends packing a 7 or 8 weight fly rod and 10lbs plus leaders to meet the challenge. Dom will have plenty of fly patterns and useful advice to share as you’ll learn how to spot and tempt these gorgeously conditioned fish on dry and slow sinking wet flies.
Please note, some previous fishing experience is an advantage.
Equipment and lunch are not provided and a kit list will be given to you ahead of attending. We may be able to provide loan kit for the day by arrangement, please contact customer services after you have placed your order.
